The Glass Shoppe has undertaken most of the prestigious work in the Wellington area in recent decades – Parliament Buildings, St James and Embassy Theatres, and the huge mural wall of stained glass in the Te Papa Museum Marae. The Glass Shoppe provides a while-you-wait glass-cutting service, and there is always parking right at our door. Accessibility is a safety consideration when handling glass.
Mirrors, obscure glasses, and tinted, coloured, etched glasses – our range is extensive.
A wide range of processing and edge working can be offered – polishing, bevelling, sparkling and sandblasting.

Crystal Repairs

Don’t be forlorn…… that your special crystal glass or vase has been chipped or broken.
More often than not The Glass Shoppe can cut, glue bond or grind and polish crystal and glassware to restore its appearance or usability. We can do some clever things with glass and frequently can get it fixed "before mum gets home"!
Chandelier cleaning and repair is a speciality. Just remember, if it's broken and you would like The Glass Shoppe to assess repairing it, do gather up every last fragment when you bring it to us.

The Glass Shoppe can supply and install boat windscreens, windows, replacement hatch covers and companionways. We can attend to all glass, acrylic and polycarbonate requirements from dinghies to ships.
