Commercial
Glazing
The Glass Shoppe can attend to all your
requirements for commercial glazing including shop frontages,
internal partitions, shop fit-outs, mirror work and virtually
anything else to do with glass and glazing in your shop, factory
or multistorey building.
We welcome enquiries from landlords, property managers,
shopkeepers and building contractors needing advice regarding specialist performance glasses
for solar,
sound and security control.
The
design of overhead glazing is critical, concerning the
spans of glass that can be used between the glazing bars, and
also must by law use Grade A Safety Glass, either Toughened or Laminated.
With a pool of ten in our glazing team we can tackle all
commercial work to achieve that deadline, security or weather
tightness required…and it’s all available with our 24 hour
service.

Leadlight and Stained
Glass Work
The Glass Shoppe has undertaken most of the
prestigious work in the Wellington area in recent decades –
Parliament Buildings, St James and Embassy Theatres, and the
huge mural wall of stained glass in the Te Papa Museum Marae. We
do, however focus on domestic installations and can design,
make, repair or modify any leadlight panels in doors, windows,
furniture or kitchen units.
And leadlight and stained glass is not only affordable – it is
an investment. American building research claims for every $1
spent on stained glass $2 is added to the homes value.
Call us today - we offer the complete service from on site
consultation and measure to installation.

We involve you at
every step of the process and you are welcome to visit our
studio to see your window under construction.
And the passion remains...we probably get as much enjoyment in creating a panel for you,
as you will in enhancing your home.
We can design and manufacture in all periods of design –
Victorian, Art Nouveau, Edwardian, Art Deco, abstract and modern
pictorial.
